Hello, dear viewer, if you haven’t, please like and consider subsribing. I am just kidding, but that’s basically where I come from. After watching so many wonderful and inspiring people on YouTube, I’ve decided to start my own “blogcast”. And what better time to pick than a new year and shove another resolution down my laundry list.
I want this to be about yarn crafts, postcards and occasionally other stuff. If you haven’t guessed by the name of the blogcast, I am a crocheter and that is currently my main crafty outlet.

Going back to the 80s: Tunisian simple bag
As I dipped my toes into the tunisian waters, I wanted to make something larger but still simple. And I had this beautiful rainbow skein.
Getting into tunisian crochet
I was looking for some way how to create pictures with crochet. I scoured the internet and found so many techniques, but none gave me satisfactory results - apart from maybe the bobble stitch pixel art; I didn’t even try that one because I can’t do the stitch without going insane.
Somewhere on Reddit, I found someone mentioning that the tunisian simple stitch is perfect for pixel art because the stitches are on top of each other and are more or less squarish. So I gave it a go, and this was the widest swatch I could make with my short hook:
